Our family is growing up so fast! Michael is almost 2 and Andres is almost 4. They are adorable boys who keep me on my toes. We enjoy swimming in the back yard, looking for bugs under rocks and jumping on the trampoline. Andres has been a really good big brother of course they fight but he has taught Michael so much. Felito and I have opened a small business it is a Tropical Juice trailor called LAS PERLAS tropical juice it has been quite a serious process getting it up and running but we are now attending the farmers market in Logan (on the upper north west side) and week day evenings here in Smithfield at the Soft ball and little league field parking lot. Hopefully we can unload the debt of the trailor and truck and start making some money for fun stuff. Like maybe a trip to the Dominican Republic. I am also really excited about running the Ragnar this year it is a 188 mile run that starts up at Utah State and ends in Park City we have 24 people in our group and we each have 3 seperate legs that we run. Our group consists of Felito and I my uncle Dale cousin Jenni and her husband Andy and other people Felito works with. I have been training over the last 3 months...tonight I ran 8 miles in and hour.....ouch I am hurting I hope i didn't over do it.....I am in pain tonight.....I just want to be ready! I think I will have to run less but more often two more weeks and it is the run. June 17 & 18. I hope we can do well it has been really fun training... hope all goes good. I am excited my garden is comming up good I have a huge garden this year I have added strawberrys and raspberrys this year and I have also bought some grape vines and blueberry vines that I still need to plant. I better get hasta luego.

I was just looking at my blog and I can't believe that I haven't even posted about Michael. I guess the last two years have been really hard on me. Michael has been such a joy though. I love him and Andres to pieces. I need to be better about posting now I realize I have been missing in action.

I am at my aunts house using her internet so I will let you know a little about us. We are doing really good we really enjoyed our trip to the Dominican Republic sorry that I didn't write more I was up nursing Michael non stop and truthfully we traveled over the whole island except Haiti of course so I didn't have access to internet very often. I want to get my journal and write what we did so that you can know what we did. It was so much fun.

We have fineally made it to the Dominican Republic...The time is going by so fast I can hardly believe we have been here a week already... we have seen so many fun things and hope to see alot more. It has been so good to come and see our family, Felito's sisters and all our nieces and nephews, it is growing so big. We are staying in a beautiful hotel in Boca Chica a 7 minute car ride away from Felito's brother Franklin and sister Sobieda. Our hotel has a fresh water swimming pool and two master bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and dining and living room. The hotel has cable T.V. and wireless internet. To sum it up we are in paradise. The grounds around the hotel are breath taking palm trees, ground cover and beautiful flowering bushes of all colors. It is around 86 degrees in the night and of course slightly hotter in the daytime.

Day 1 (thursday)- figured out rental car and hotel, then we went to visit family, Franklin, Sobieda, Amanda and all of Andres and Michaels cousins (eight in total). It was so fun, the power was out so we enjoyed sitting out on the frount porch and playing with glow lights that my dad brought from the states. We had a delicious hamburger, fries and drink. Which we shared together. It was so great to be back with family and Andres had a ball running down the street with his cousins. Michael enjoyed getting held by his aunts and cousins. Mom and Dad enjoyed meeting felito's twin sister for the first time. Mom was asking if there were fireflies in the D.R. and at that moment we saw a few fling around.

Last Thursday Andres and I Started off with Sore throats and ear aches...( I had a bladder infection) and then we ended up with the SWINE FLU! All I can say is we wanted to die...but we can fineally swallow and the body aches and pains have subsided....thankgoodness! WE are now vacinated Andres after the fact got the flu shot and Micheal got the flu vac and 2 other shots to make him current to go to the Dominican Republic. WE ARE SOOOoooooo EXCITED!! One more week! Yeah! Felito and will have to wait until next week to get vacinated for the swine flu vac. Micheal is doing so well the Doctor said that I can start him on solid floods I was so supprised because I didn't start that with Andres until 6 months. Well good to hear from some of you guys! Love you all !!

hOw ArE YoU ALL? We are doing really good. We are getting really excited it is only 13 days now until our big trip. We are so EXCITED to see Felito's family and to have Andres and Michael meet their aunts and uncles and Grandma. We had a really good halloween Andres was an adorable pumpkin and Michael was a monkey. We went trick or treating and Andres LOVES candy. Then we went up to grandma and grandpas for the evening. Michaels baby blessing was really good. He is such a good baby. He loves to smile and coo. He is extremely vocal I love it. We miss being in contact with you all and hope all is well.

We welcome our healthy baby boy Micheal Miguel Martinez. He was born on July 30,2009 at 3:22 p.m. in Logan Regional Hospital. He weighed 8 pds. 2 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. We are enjoying him so very much he is a joy to have in our family. We love you MICHAEL!!

was born on July 30, 2009 at 3:22 p.m. He came into the world weighing 8.2 pds (lighter than his older brother Andres) and was 19 1/2 inches long. We want to publicly welcome him to our family he has been a joy.

We can now move in....too bad we don't have a truck. We are renting a U-Haul tomarrow to move our stuff. If I had a truck I would be tempted to be moving all day today. (Not the best probably for a 9 mo. prego.) I am just sooooo EXCITED!! I am going to the house this morning to wait for the delivery guys to bring our new kitchen appliences. And I think I will put up the crib first thing. Andres' bed will be delivered this afternoon so I can do a couple things today while I am waiting for Felito to get off work. We had a long meeting after the open house last night. After that some of the familys were really ambisious and are taping and painting their walls I however came home and after a bowl of fruit went straight to bed. We'll keep you posted.

The national anthem was playing and Andres put his hand on his heart. tapped me on the shoulder and said mum mum. he is so stinkin' cute. I love him sooooo much.

I am now home on bed rest. Darn it all! I have high blood pressure so the doctor said I have to stay home and take it easy. So poor Felito has to go to work and go work on the house every night. I guess if I have high blood pressure it restricts blood flow to the baby and can cause a lot of problems I sure don't want to get started early so I am home playing with Andres and keeping my feet up. I get horrably bord but what can I do? We are comming really close to moving in I am SOOOOO EXCITED! Before my doctors apointment yesterday I went to T.J.MAXX and got a couple colorful onsies and some pants and shoes for our little Miguel. I am getting so excited to have him here and see what he looks like I dream with him a lot and he always looks very similar to Andres. Oh yeah Andres went poop and pee in the potty yesterday it was fun but he is far from being potty trained. He is my best little friend! Congratulations Jessica on your new addition I heard that evey thing is doing well and you are enjoying your little boy. Tell next time. bye-bye

Wow I can't believe how fast the time is flying. I am already 36 1/2 weeks prenant. We are are almost finished with our house. We have been laying sod in our yards we have layed six homes this week and our turn will be on Friday. It has been so much fun doing our yards and seeing the progress we got to choose 3 trees and 5 shrubs our houses are beginning to look like homes. We will hopefully have the open house the 22 of this month (JULY). yeah! We have worked our butts off building 12 homes it will be sooooooo GOOD to be done. (That is a understatement.) I haven't seen or spent alot of quality time with Felito for a long time it has been WORK WORK WORK!! Andres is growing up...he looks like he is three but still acts like a soon to be two year old. His new favorite thing to do is to be tickled he tells us when to "tdap" and "doo" it makes me laugh because sometimes he mixes up one with go. He is sooo cute I can't wait to see how he is as a big brother. He is so helpful, he likes to help me around the house. When we were weeding and raking to get ready for sod he was mommys little helper to pile the weeds and he rake the yard. He did 50% of the work weeding because I couln't bend over and standup so I scooted around the yard and he carried the weeds and piled them around I owe him big time he is my best little friend. Congratulations Cassie and Jon I heard your good news!! Until next time....

Andres was so happy to see the baby he wasn't allowed back there and we snuck in with a Doctor. Baby Lasley is so beautiful he looks alot like both parents. He was adopted out 2 days after he was born.

It's a Boy!! Felito, Andres, Toni and I went to my ultra sound yesterday it was so fun. I was really shocked that we are having a baby boy. I decided on Andres' name so it was Felito's turn to choose a name he wouldn't tell me any girl names and he had me so fustrated. He said I know that it is going to be a boy so don't be disappointed when we go to the ultra sound and it isn't a girl. I wouldn't be disappointed at all either way but I was sure we were going to have a girl....woopsie....not a girl a cute little baby boy! His name will be Miguel Angel Martinez!!! He will be just as cute as his older brother Andres and will hopefully be the best of friends! He is due to arrive the 3 of August...but we will expect him Lasley standard time which may be a few days late....jajaja! We are so EXCITED to meet our little guy!

1- Belly Buttons : He loves to show you his or see yours. He knows mommy has a baby in her tummy and he lifts up my shirt and rubs my belly and listens to it. He is so cute!
2- Drawing on everything: A couple of weeks ago he was doing so well with a pen we though that we didn't have to watch him really closely boy were we wrong. He drew on our bathroom door, so every morning he shows me it and says ought owe!
3- He is talking a lot more some of his favorite words are: ought owe, agua (water), leche (milk), balloon, bubbles, wow, dada, I can't think of any more right now but there are more. I love how he speaks spanglish like his parents.
4- He loves to dance: He watches Americans best dance crew and he tries to break dance and hip-hop
5- He likes to sing: He likes to watch VH1, MTV or CMT he is a lover of music like his daddy and great Grandpa Richards.
6- Play with dad on the computer
7- He likes to snow board on the xbox: he biffs it like the snowboarder on the game falling on the floor.
8- He likes magnets
9- He likes putting on new or clean clothes he rubs his tummy and feels like he is the handsomest guy around.
10- He loves family: He gets so excited for any visit.
*** He loves oing outside even though it is cold!! Mommy doesn't like it at all!! He likes to play in the snow!

We are sooooo EXCITED!! We are expecting!! We are going to add to our little family this summer. Andres and the baby will be almost 2 years apart. I haven't had my first apointment yet but I think that I am due end of July, first of August. All I can say is I am showing alot faster with this one or I am further along than I think.
I am so happy and at the same time a ball of nerves. I don't know how I am going to give Andres and a baby all the attention that they need. Andres is my little man he is the love of my life. I hope he will be a good older brother....he loves kids I just don't know about kids that take time away from him and his attention.
Our house is comming along really well we are now working on our closet organizers and putting in our inside doors. I am just sooo glad to be inside working rather than freezing outside. We will hopefully be getting into our house before the baby is due. I am sooo happy for our house it will be good to have room to run around. We are living up at Aggie Village it is cold and so tiny. Some other things I am looking forward to is a dishwasher (besides me), a dryer and space!!

We have enjoyed the fall... Andres loves to walk and play in the leaves and feel them crunch under his feet. He had so much fun the day I tried to take pictures of him he wouldn't even look at the camera.....Andres was an adorable bat for Halloween. We went to Aunt Gloria's for a party and to pass out candy. Grandma and Grandpa "Great" Richards were there and Grandma Sheryl. We ate chips and salsa, rice crispy bats and carmel apples. yummy it was so much fun! Felito dressed up as a robot James Brown mixing his costumes from the last two years and I was Marsha from the Brady Bunch, Gloria was a Sugar Daddy and Grandpa "Great" dressed up as a baby. We took Andres trick-0r-treating around the block he was so stinkin' cute. He loved to grab the candy out of the bowls and chew on the wrapers. It was so cute at one house the lady held the bowl out so long that Andres filled both hands....turned and sat his candy down on the frount porch and reached for some more....he is our little pig! We ran into Heather (Merrill) and Cory Pence and their two beautiful witches they were sooooo CUTE! Heather was a cat and Cory was the cauldron....so fun! We also ran into our Dominican friend Osfaldo and his wife Claudia we hung out out her moms place and visited. Then we went up to Denalee and Jon's house to see the kids.... they gave us a candy apple that was to die for!! Yummy... Halloween was a BLAST having Andres makes all of lives moments so much better. Hope you had a great Halloween!!

We are building our House!!

Felito and I are building a house in Smithfield. We are building with a group called Neighborhood non-profit, it has been so much fun. We have framed 4 and 1/2 houses so far we only have to frame 6 of 12 so hopefully we will be working on the inside of the houses before the snow falls. (I will probably ginks us by saying that.) We started framing on our home last Saturday (the 4th home) and finished up today so it took us 8 days to frame. We will hopefully be getting our trusses put up early this next week. It is amazing to see our home take form and to be the one to build it is awsome....We will be doing all of the finishing work on all 12 of the homes....we have really enjoyed getting to know and working with our future neighbors we are becoming really good friends.... It is a lot of really hard work so after working all evening both Felito and I go to the Sports Academy and sit in the sauna room or jet tub......that is now my favorite thing to do. Andres is getting so big he is now 1 year and 2 1/2 months old he is all over the place, it is crazy how fast time is fling I can't wait until we get into our home and he will have a yard to play in.... IT WILL BE SO FUN!!

We have had a fabulious week!! On Tuesday, November 17, my little sister Toni gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. He was 7 pds 6 oz and has dirty blond hair and blue eyes. I can't believe the day has fineally arrived and passed. It seems so weird that we have met the "little man" already after a very long 9 months of waiting. Toni and Tory are doing really well, Tory more than Toni of course because after tring for 16 hours to have the little guy she had to go and have a c-section. She did really well of course, she is a trooper. Congratulations guys.....He is an Angel from heaven!!! We spent three days up at the hospital holding squizzing and kissing our "little man" his hands and feet are so tiny and wrinkly he is truely precious. The first thing I though when I saw him was he has Toni's nose.....it was so fun to see how much he looks like her. Simply ADORABLE!!!

I am going to have a children's book party at my house on Thursday the 21 of February@ 6:30 pm. The company is Usborne Books...they are educational books which are really cute....they even have books in Spanish!! I would love all who would love to come to come....It is going to be so much fun! Andres and his giant crocodile that he loves to wrestle (I can't wait to get him the movie Peter Pan to go with it) I also took him out the other day in his snow suit and tossed him in the mound of snow out front of our apartment (his first time outside, outside of his carseat) it was freezing but he had this huge smile with a red nose and cheeks....He love to pose for the camera and smile...I got him this teddy bear that tells stories we set him in front of it the other day and he just yelled and laughed... we love our little guy!

Baby milestones-Have you noticed how your baby turns to you when he hears your voice? His expressions of attentiveness to you are really gratifying after the many hours of hard work you've logged in taking care of him. What seemed rather one-sided for so long is beginning to blossom into a truly interactive relationship. Don't be surprised if, more and more often, you feel like dropping everything just to get down on the floor and have fun with your baby.

(These pictures are from when he was 3&4 months old) He is on his 3rd cold darn-it! ...But he is getting better. He is still not crawling but getting really close, he can do a full push-up and he can maneuver himself in a full circle depending on who or what he wants to see. He is discovering faces more he loves to slap, push or grab your face he especially likes it if you have glasses. His hair is super long and a couple people have asked when I am giving him his first haircut. (It won't be until he is a year old, its tradition in the Dominican Republic. Some superstition that it will make his hair not grow back if you cut it in the first year.) He is going to have some long curls!! He loves to do "raspberries," slap hands (gives you 5), he is sitting up better now and eats his cereal 2x a day!
We have to get rid of our high-speed internet so this may be my last blog (sad) for a little while. We are going to use the free internet from USU (as soon as we figure it out that is.) Speaking of USU Felito is doing great in his classes. Writing a ton of papers and doing a CHON of homework! He is learning so much. I just want to say thanks for all my friends comments to my blog. I love you guys and love that we can stay in touch via the blog. I will keep in touch promise.....Bye bye for now.

Felito is up to Utah State we are so excited. He is in a writing and a reading class (part time school) and working full time still at Harris Research. He is enjoying his classes and learning a ton. He has a lot of homework every night. He has decided to study International Business with a minor in Political Science, that is as of right now.
Andres is 4 months and two weeks old he is sure growing up so fast. He loves his Baby Einstein movies and jumping in his jumper. He is more vocal now he talks non-stop. He squills and coos! He is sitting up better now and loves his toys. He still rolls over a million times a day and he is getting stronger at pushing up on his arms when he is on his belly (he will be crawling soon.) I am so excited!!
I am a mother. I enjoy staying home with my little man. It is a blessing that I can stay home and raise him. I enjoy his sweet spirit and joyful attitude. He is the thing that makes me most happy in my life. My world wouldn't be the same without him. I have got my house cleaned out better now ....so I am going to start reading a lot more and working on Andres' scrapbook. I can't wait until Spring so that we can go outside and go for walks.

This week has went by fast! We have had alot of fun we celebrated both mine and Felito's birthdays this week (Felito's birthday is actually today). We are getting old....Andres also went into the Doctors for his 4 month well check. He currently weighs 15 lbs 5.5 oz (50%ile) and is 26 1/2 inches long (85%ile). He didn't gain too much these last 2 months because he got pretty sick he was on a Nebulizer for a week and a half. He had a horrable cold in his lungs, throat and nose. He ate half of what he did normally for like 3 weeks. But he is feeling better now....and his apetite is back... he loves to get in the jet tub and soak...he loves his tub toys....he loves to jump in his bouncer...and play with his fisher price toys....

We had a pretty fun Christmas, it sure went by fast...We went to Grandma and pa Richards for Christmas Eve dinner...my mom was sick so her, dad and Jami didn't make it. I was disapointed. I really wanted them to be there. We had a fun time and ate ham and chilli. It was fun to just hang out and visit with everyone. Andres rolled over about 5 times it was so much fun (that was a fun Christmas present for me) We stayed over night because there was a huge snow storm...we enjoyed Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Florence.....opened a couple of presents and then came over to mom and dads to open the rest of our presents with Jami and Toni. Andres was so cute...wrapping paper was a hit...he also loved this pet monkey that grandpa bought to share with him when he goes there to visit. Andres got spoiled he got 2 videos, a doggie (fisher price sings and counts), hat, gloves and books. It was so much fun!! We love our little man...We went to Aunt Ruth's and Richards for a pie party with the Lasleys. It was a blast to see everyone and to get all the great grandchildren together. (I don't have pictures Grandpa does)

Sooo...5 random things about me....

#1-......I love to run....when I was younger in gym class I loved the dreaded mile....I would sometimes ask the teacher if I could go run rather than play games...I love to feel the wild galloping of my heart....As I run I am free, my mind clear. I love the burn and the stiffness afterward.... the sweat as it prickles my brow....the high of achievement of running faster than the time before...its in these moments I feel one with myself.

#2-......I love to look for a great deal....which leads me to Yard Sales and the D.I. they are my favorite....I love getting up early on a cool Saturday mornings with coins in my pocket ready to find the treasure I've always wanted....When ever I have been on vacation whither it is in Jackson Hole, or in St. George Saturday mornings are reserved for Yard Sales and a trip to the the D.I..... Of course it wouldn't be any fun if it weren't shared with the ones I love...it is so much fun being with my mom and sisters.... as we dash out of the car to get our hands on the best find....before the other can...(we all have the same good taste which leads to some friendly competition)...the best part of all you pay cents for things that are PRICELESS!!

#3-......I love to play games....since I can remember I have loved going over to my Grandma Richards house to play card and board games....Grandma always wins and Grandpa always keeps the score...I just enjoy loosing and spending time with them...Some of my favorite games are Rummie Cube, Spinner, Hand and Foot.... what good memories!

#4-......I love Ice Cream...when I was in High School I had the perfect job....I worked at Charlies Ice Cream....I am proud to say that I ate Ice Cream every day for 3 and a half years...It is still my favorite...my ice cold treat makes my heart skip a beat! mmmmm......Some of my favorite hand dipped flavors were Chocolate Peanut Buttercup with peanut butter drizzled over the top, Chocolate, Raspberry Cheese Cake, Butter Pecan, Carmel Cashew, Rockey Road, Bubble Gum and Prailens & Carmel....my favorite shakes were Peanut Butter Oreo, German Chocolate, Strawberry Short Cake, Reeses PBC, Pumpkin pie, Banana Creme, Raspberry and Chocolate Chocolate Chip!

Wow the time is sure flying it feels like it was just Halloween, Thanksgiving has come and gone, before we know it Christmas will be here. My good friend Julie had an extra Christmas tree so she gave it to us (what a sweet heart). I got it put up on the first of December it looks great and Andres loves it. He loves to sit under it, stare at the lights a listen the this Christmas music box the we got as a wedding gift. He is so vocal now he coos, gaaas and giggles a ton!

We went to the temple last Thursday with my cousin Jordan. He just got his mission call to Zimbabwe Africa. He is really excited, I would be to, how fun! He leaves on March 20th if he gets his visa. It was really good to go to the temple and feel the spirit. I really have missed going that was the first time we have went since the baby was born. Grandma and Grandpa watched him for a couple of hours up to their house. It was the first time I have left Andres, it was kind of hard. I was ready to see him when we were through. He sure had a lot of fun! He was sleeping with grandma on the couch when we got there.

We went up to Grandmas and Grandpas to help put up the tree. Aunt Jami has a lot of beautiful decorations so it was fun to decorate different this year. The tree looks like a white jewel with its gorgeous glittering snow flakes and clear and white balls. Andres had a lot of fun when grandpa got home and let him slobber on one of the glass balls. Grandpa would hold it up to his lips and he would just lick away it was quite fascinating to Andres. Jami put this awesome Christmas village that she has hand painted nestled up under the tree. It was so much fun spending the afternoon together it has been too long. I am so glad we have her home for Christmas and get to see her during the holiday season not just for the few short hours on Christmas eve and day.

Exercise, How Fun!

Yesterday my friend Leeanne and I went to the Sports Academy to exercise (We went one day last week also) it was so much fun...I am sooo out of shape! I have been really struggling with the baby-blues since Andres was born my hormones have been all screwed up. So I am hoping that exercise and vitamins will help. We jogged on the cardio machines for 20 minutes and then did some weight lifting. It felt great, but I got really stiff! I figure, since it is the first few times I have exercised since baby Andres was born it will get easier....and going with Leeanne is a great motivator. Its also good for the guys to have some one on one time with the little kids. Andres had a lot of fun with his daddy...and he was sure ready to eat when I got home...( It feels good to be missed!)

Thanksgiving- 3 Months today!

Thanks Giving was a sucess we sure enjoyed getting together with family and friends to share this great day. We had a delicious dinner, turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, veggie tray and pies. It was so good! Andres was three months old on Thanksgiving day. He is a joy in our lives. He is getting soooo big; he has graduated into size two diapers already. It is so fun to see how much he has changed he is getting so tall he fits in size 6 months in alot of his clothes. He is now just a babling, cooing and giggling. I am so proud of our little man! Bungee Baby Bouncer, 11 weeks old-

Andres is tring to learn his new Bungee Baby Bouncer....Grandma, Grandpa, Mommy, Daddy and Jami all tried to get him to jump....he stands pretty well. Aunt Jami said he was as fun as watching paint dry....jajaja Grandma said that it only takes them a day or two an they get the hang of it. He looks like our little Pinochio!
Grandpa came and held him up like he had caught a big fish..."he's a good catch." Daddy jigged in the kitchen "It's his first lesson" he said as he jumped and danced around...Andres watched intently but didn't jump so much. Mommy was once again the photographer so there isn't a pic...of me and our little man. Oh well.... It will be fun to see him bounce around in the next couple of days. He is really strong I bet he will catch on quickly.
Andres is sure growing up he loves to play with his toys,read books and take baths. He has discovered his hands and is beginning to use his voice more. He is a very charming boy he is quite happy most of the time. He has graduated from size one diapers to size two. He's a big boy!

He's also excitedly using all five senses to learn about the world. You can actually see how hard he's working to assimilate the new information he's exposed to every day. If something grabs his attention, notice how hard he focuses on it and stares. He's taking it in on many levels..

We just got home from Grandpa & Grandma Greats (Richards) we spent the weekend with them at their home in Garland. It was a really fun weekend, Andres sure enjoyed it also he loves his great grandparents. We played games, went to the auction, slept in (well...Felito & Grandma did), and ate great meals. Felito said he hasn't eaten or slept so good in 3 months. Toni and her friend Wess stopped in on Saturday it was fun to see her. We were playing hand and foot...a real fun game...Felito and Grandma won! Andres tried a Jonny Jumper that grandma has, he loved it, he giggled out loud 3 times. He still hasn't got the hang of it....maybe next time....he sure liked it when I made him bounce or swing. We will have to see on Thanks Giving if he remembers it. It was so much fun we didn't want to come home, thank you Grandpa & Grandma. Love you

We have had alot of fun lately we have had several family home evenings with good friends. Tonight we went to Taylor, Callie and Kinsie's house it was so much fun to get together and have dinner together. The lesson was great it was about service and how we need to be in the spirit of service not only during the holiday season but all year around. We had alot of fun!

Blessing Day, 9 weeks old-

It was so fun to have all the family and friends at our baby blessing today. Thanks everyone for comming. Felito gave the blessing in spanish he did a really good job....Andres was really good...he only squaked at the end and when Felito held him up. (I loved that kiss that his daddy gave him afterwards, he's a proud dad.) It is such a blessing to have a great husband who honors and exercises his priestood to bless our family. I enjoyed Felito's testimony; I am so glad that we have an eternal family also. I really wanted to bear my testimony today but Andres got hungry so I had to go out. I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father for allowing us to have little Andres he brings such joy and happyness to our family. When I was comming home from my mission I wrote in the back of Felito's Book of Mormon (his baptism gift) for him to marry in the temple and to honor his priestood and bless his family. Never in a million years would I have thought at that we would get married and he would bless our child. Its amazing how the lord works. We had a great luncheon thanks everyone for bringing great food and sharing this special day with us. OH YEAH...Felito and I made a Dominican dish to share with the family. It is a soup called Sancocho it had 7lbs of chicken, 2lbs of sausage, 1lb salami, potatoes, celery and carrots...etc...We made a huge pot of it and it was a good thing. I think it was a hit, it was all gone. We also made coconut rice...it was fun for Felito to share some of his culture on this special day!

Yesterday was so fun...my friend Briann and her husband Shaun came to town and we hung out. We went to firehouse pizza for lunch. It was sooo good to see them it has been forever. Felito and I don't make it to Salt Lake very often so we will have to go and get together again sometime soon. They are good friends, it was a fun day.

Halloween, Andres is 8 weeks-

Halloween was so much fun! We dressed up and went to the Halloween carnaval that they had at the mall. Andres was a little pirate...aargh... and I was a robot. We went with my friend Julie and her little girl Kaylee they were so cute Julie was a cow and Kaylee a calf. It was sooo fun.....they were "Utterly Adorable." The costumes were so awsome! We went and visited Aunt Jami for a bit then we came home to get Papi...and he loved Andres' costume. We got some bad news our brother-in-law passed away this afternoon a car accident .....so that was really hard. Toni and her friend Wess invited us out to dinner...we went to Wingers & dressed up. Felito and I were robots, Toni was Sponge Bob and Wess was Larry the Cable Guy and their other friend was just himself. It was so much fun hanging out with Toni and meeting her friends. We later went out to grandma and grandpa's house to say hi... Aunt Gloria came up to say hi also it was fun to see her costume....it was a pretty good Halloween...Andres is a pretty cute Pirate!

Andres' two month well checkup-

We went to the Doctor today! Andres has grown a ton; he weighs 12.5 lbs (85%ile) and is 25.5 inches tall (95%ile.) He got 4 shots today and tonight he has been quite irratable and wants to be cuddled. It makes me sad but he will feel better in a few days. Doctor Mckenna said that we need to reinforce the behaviors we like because Andres doesn't want to sleep between 11:30 pm-1:30 am and I am getting to be a real tired mommy! So we are going to work on a bed time now.

Andres is going to have his blessing this Sunday we are really excited. It will be fun to have our family and friends get together and share this special moment with us. We bought his blessing outfit 3 weeks ago so I hope it still will fit him. (the store doesn't have a bigger size) oh well it will be okay for his special day.

Andres' first friend that he met is Carlitos he is now one year old but in a few years they will have alot more in common. We enjoy hanging out with our good friends Carlos and Leanne on the weekends. We are pretty much house crashers we hang out, chat (I love to talk to Leanne, we have alot in common) and watch movies together and enjoy the kids. We met Carlitos when he was still scooting around and now he is walking. It is crazy how fast they grow up!

Andres also has a girl friend Kaylee she is so stinkin' cute. She has beautiful blue eyes and blond hair. She is 7 1/2 months old has 6 teeth, is crawling and pulling herself up to stuff already. It was fun we went on a play date today to the mall. I just adore Julie she is so fun to hang out with she is a great friend.

Andres met Spencer today! He and his mom came to visit us. It was so dang fun! When I worked at Bridger Elementary Spencer would come into the office and put his ear up to my prego belly and try to feel his kicks. I was really excited to see him he is so cute. Andres giggled for the first time with Spencer it was awsome. It supprised me at first I couldn't believe he was laughing.

Of Course Bracken and Issac are not only friends they are family. Andres has alot of other second cousins he hasn't met yet. It has been fun to hang out with Jason & Kate and Jon & Kassie. We get to enjoy one another and pass around the little ones. It is awsome they are so close in age they will be great friends like their parents are.

We had a fun evening we went over to our friends Sarah and Adam's house to have family home evening and to carve pumpkins. It was so fun to get together. Its been over 2 years since we have hung out but it seems like yesterday they are good friends. They have two little boys Elija and Alexander. It was fun to see and meet them.

The Boston Red Socks won the World Series!! Yeah, we have had so much fun watching the games leading up to this big win. We have went up to Grandma and Grandpa's house to watch the games. It was fun to watch our Dominican players David Ortiz, Mani Ramires, Julio Lugo and Coco Crisp. The team played hard and it payed off. We congratulate Mike Lowell for winning the MVP he earned it. Felito is so happy! Andres is learning from his daddy to love the game early. He is learning the song "Take me out to the ball game" and even smiles when mommy is singing. jajaja LETS PLAY BALL!

I can't believe we had our little man 2 months ago the time has sure flown. We sure have enjoyed him he brings so much joy and happyness into our lives. His beautiful smile and bright eyes can melt any heart. We are excited about celebrating our first holiday with him Halloween will be so much fun. We haven't bought a costume but I think that he might just dress up as David Ortiz from the Boston Red Socks we are going to keep it easy this year. Felito gets to go to sleep and Andres and I enjoy our late night play dates. He has still got his days and nights mixed up he is wide awake sometimes until 1:30 or 2:00 A.M. Oh well, I can't wait until he sleeps through the night; because mommy is exausted! Andres is full of smiles, he has discovered he has spit,(starting to blow bubbles), he has that right arm constantly on the move it is so funny he will straighten it out up in the air, stare at it and then it comes down fast and bops him in the nose. He is so alert its fun to see him connect with you.

Baby Milestones- Coos are your baby's way of expressing delight, as well as exercising his vocal cords. You can carry on a "conversation" with your baby now. When he gurgles or coos, say something brief or coo back at him. Then wait for him to "say" something back to you. This kind of conversational turn-taking may not sound like much to you now, but it's actually the beginning of learning how to talk!

We went up to Aunt Gloria's house for the day. After we went out to lunch at Kentucky Fried Chicken. We enjoyed Grandpa and Grandma Great Richards, Grandma Sheryl, Aunt Gloria, Aunt Shirley, Uncle Elmer, cousin Jenni, Mommy and DAD!! It was so much fun Andres was full of smiles we don't have to coax them out of him now. It is amazing that he kept all of us adults entertained all day long! He has really discovered his right arm now it is constantly moving, he loves to watch it move and he kicks and jigs around. Grandma Great Colleen got 8 smiles or more and Andres enjoys boxing with Grandpa Great Lamont. It was so fun to spend the day & evening. Aunt Gloria shared her pictures and experiences she had on vacation to China it was really neat how many things sound like the Dominican Republic. Felito showed up after he went on splits with the missionaries. He had Andres smiling and goofing off Andres thinks he is quite an awsome dad!

We went up to Grandma & Grandpa's house to hang out and Andres met Jami's dog Zander. Grandpa got a huge smile which was heart melting because Andres is just starting to smile and they are few and far between. I love this outfit on him it makes him look like a little man.

We entered Andres into a diper contest at Storks landing. I made his diaper into a Base ball mit. He was a little All Star super model sporting a ball and mit with the shirt of his favorite base ball team the Boston Red Socks! It was so much fun and of course he was the cutest! We got $15 coupon which we used to get part of his blessing outfit. It was so much fun to see all of the fun diapers and costumes all the babys were so dang cute. Andres made mommy and daddy proud. Yesterday we went to a supprise anniversary for Grandpa and Grandma Great! We went up to Uncle Richard and Ruth's it was a Blast! They threw a really fun party for Grandpa Gordon and Jo. They were so happy! Grandma recited a beautiful poem and we shared Ice Cream and cake. Congratulations on 53 years together!!

It was extra fun because it was the first time that Andres, Bracken and Issac were together we took some really cute pictures. Bracken is 3 months old, Issac is 2 1/2 months old and Andres is 1 1/2 months old. They will soon catch up to one another and they will all look the same age. Cousin Kate and Bracken saved us; we had to borrow an outfit because Andres wetted his. It was so cute the little ones held hands and little Issac almost got Andres' hand in his mouth. It was fun to get together once again. I love being with family. This is a picture of us before & after the boys came.

Baby Andres rolled over on Sunday September 30. We cheered and cheered Andres thought we were crazy!! I bet he would have rolled over sooner but he has never had much down time on a blanket. He is always being held by someone, we are going to start doing more tummy-time. Andres is so attentive he loves to listen to you talk, then he will shower you with smiles, he is a such a joy!
He loves baths in the tub he kicks his legs he's our little frogger! Went to find a blessing outfit today we didn't find anything yet. Dang-it! We are thinking about having him blessed in November, he will be two months old. Oh yeah... also we have a little bad news he went in for his 3rd hearing screening and he failed it so we've got to go to an audioligist on October 11th. I feel like he is hearing us talk but it does make me concerned and fustrated hope everything will come back good, I'll let you know! Adios....

It is hard to believe that we have had baby Andres for a month now. We are enjoying being parents. Felito and I haven't had very much time for us which has been hard and I have slept on the couch for the past two weeks so that Felito can sleep and get to work in the morning. Today was fun...Denalee took me to get a present she got me a play-pin it is so cute it is chocolate brown with blue and cream design and a teddy bear mobile. It is awsome I am soooo EXCITED to use it!! We went out to eat at Wingers it was so good. Andres is getting so big he is so bright. His hair is getting lighter, it is now brown and straight. His eyes are changing a bit they are a grey-blue and light brown (I bet he will be our little brown eyed boy.) He is a good mix he has my mouth and Felito's nose and both of our eyes he definately looks DOMINICAN although he is still really fare skinned. He is so much fun, I love to dress him in his "I play sports with daddy" onesie and pants he looks like a little man he is soooo handsome. I can't believe it is real...its a DREAM...we love being parents. Time has flown, Andres changes so much every day...he is getting alot bigger it is kindof sad. He definately knows what he likes and doesn't like, his new crave is his swing he likes to sit and sleep between feedings. He doesn't like his diaper changed he cries and sounds like a little "squicker-toy" it is so cute. (Grandpa says moms usually don't think their baby's cries are cute but...his is.) He doesn't like his "binkie" much, he is most definately loves to suck on his fist though. He loves to bath...but he doesn't like his hair washed. He loves to eat...but he doesn't like to be put down. He has got a personality like his parents OH NO!!

August 30,2007- Baby Andres' Birthday!! Yeah!
Andres over stayed his time inside of mommy we oppted to get started on the 30 of August we went in at 7:30 in the morning. The nurse put me on a patocin drip and labor started right away. There is no way to describe labor it is incredible the pain is so immense. I was just so glad that I had a great coach Felito was wonderful. We were so excited and anxious to see our little one. When labor got unbearable I got my epidural I was already dialated to a 9 so I almost waited too long. Mom showed up and we asked if she wanted to stay and she did, then Jami came and then Toni so everyone was there to welcome the little guy into the world. Pushing was so different,it was alot harder than I thought it would be. I pushed for 35 minutes and Felito helped me breath and count. The doctor said that he had to leave for an emergency c-section so they had me stop pushing for 25 minutes and by the time he made it back and I started pushing my epidural had warn off and I could feel everything!! I hurried and pushed the button for more medicine but it didn't take effect until after baby Andres was born. (it helped with the recovery not the delivery jajaja!) When I saw our little guy being born it was so beautiful. He is perfect. He was born with a ton of jet-black hair and a full set of lungs he just scrame and scrame. He is so precious! He looked like Felito when he was born but now I see that he takes more after me he is so light and his hair is only curly when it is wet. When he was born he weighed 8 lbs. 8 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. Baby Andres was really swollen from the wait...his lips, nose and eyes were really big he looked like he had been in a boxing match and lost! (It made me so sad.) It was so fun to hold him there with Felito for the first hour after his birth(our little family.) I nursed him and he did great. It was all over really fast, almost like a dream. Felito took Andres for his first bath and when he brought him back into the recovery room he looked so much better, the swelling had gone down tremendiously. The hospital stay was fabulious we stayed the full 48 hours it was good to get nursing help and to rest(we didn't get much rest.) Our room was always full of visitors,we had so many family members and friends who came to visit us. Felito only got to hold his baby at night after everyone left he was so pacient. When we brought Andres home he weighted 7 pds 14 oz. It was so fun to bring him home in his cute blue outfit, it was also kindof scary there is so much responsibility. The first couple nights were great Andres would wake up every three hours to nurse and I would read him Harry Potter (we are going to read all the books together.) He has messy diapers way more often than I thought. My job is enjoy the baby feed and change diapers that is all I have time for....It is so fun!!

September 4, 2007- 1st Dr. Visit 5 days old
At the Dr. visit Andres had done great he was back up to 8 lbs 7 oz and was 21 inches long (he had grown a half an inch in 5 days, wow!) We had him circumsised so it was a hard visit for both baby and mom. It really stressed me out!! But he did really good. We also went to Kiddie Kandids and got his announcements taken they turned out cute. Andres made it memorable he pooped twice and peed down Daddys arm, during the photo shoot. We were too young to get our picture taken I think. We have had alot of fun visitors come and see us at our home. We have had visitors everyday from sun up to sun down, everyone wants to hold baby Andres!

September 6, 2007- Baby got hives!! 7 days old
His ambilicle cord fell off so I got him in the tub and he had his first bath. I thought that he had an allergic reaction to his soap or lotion, but it turns out that is was hives. They were horrable red welts with white heads on the top, it was so sad he was covered head to toe. I took him to the Dr. the next day (not his doctor) it was a waste of time and money he said that it was cradles-cap which was not true. We gave him soda baths and the rash went away 6 days later. But by that time mom was really stressed out, had a urinary tract and kidney infection and nursing wasn't working. Baby Andres is precious, I love to sit and hold him.

September 13, 2007- 2 weeks old
Went to the Dr.'s today! Andres weighs 8 lbs 9.5 oz.(50% percentile), and is 22 1/2 inches long (90% percentile). Doctors comments were: Eating for Andres is like running on a treadmill only feed for 30 minutes. He said that emotional stressers stink! (low milk supply) He said to bottle feed! Baby had an E-Tox rash. Not too fun! Good thing Andres is so stinking cute it makes it all worth it!! We got his foot prints taken they are so cute! We went in to check his weight 5 days later and he was up to 9 lbs 1 oz. That was good news he is doing better.

Baby Milestones- A whole week has passed, but doesn't it seem more like a lifetime? As you're adjusting to feedings and getting by on less sleep, your baby is also adjusting to his new world. He sleeps in short naps, wakes to feed, and spends some time quietly alert before drifting off to sleep again. Babies focus best on objects between 8 and 15 inches away — not coincidentally, the distance to your face when held in your arms.

September 20, 2007- 3 weeks old
Both mommy and baby are ajusting to late night feedings. Andres loves to be read to by mom and sung to by dad. He enjoys visits from his grandparents, greatgrandparents, aunts and second aunts and uncles cousins and friends. It has been so fun having him in our home he is our little bundle of joy! He is so familiar,sooo handsome! We have enjoyed his smiles and beautiful bright eyes. He is so strong the other night we put him on his stomach and he army crawled like 4 inches he has got strong legs.
September 22, 2007- Mom threw me a baby shower down at Aunt Gloria's house it was so much fun and we got alot of great gifts. Andres is going to look so cute in all his new outfits. We got alot of diapers and wipes which will help out a ton. Thanks mom for the shower it was a BLAST!!

Baby Milestones- Every baby has a unique temperament. Some are placid and agreeable, while others are more sensitive. One thing all babies have in common is that they communicate with you by crying. Sometime in the first month, you'll begin to hear another kind of sound. That's when most babies find their voices. When your baby is calm and alert, you may notice he says a little "ooh" or "aah" when he sees you or hears you approaching.

Well I went to the Doctors today and nothing has changed I haven't progressed any different this week from last week. Still no blood or protein in my urine. I weigh 159 the same as last week. My abdomine measures 39 cm and I am still dialated to a 3 and 90% effaced. The baby is still head down and station 0, baby's heart beat is 152 a little faster than last week. The good news is Dr. Strebel asked if I would like to be induced and I said, "Yes." He called up to the hospital and saw if there is any room and they are full, so they will either call me this afternoon or we will go in tomarrow. He said that being put on patocin isn't bad at all so that is a relief because I have heard that it is horrable...he said that labor is horrable anyway...but he thinks that I will go fast he said that I am in the 90%tile of women who have such a favorable cervix. Good as long as it is fast! jajaja!!

I asked him if it is good to get induced and he told me that usually with first time moms he rarely induces but seems how he thought that I would have delivered by now and my cervix and measurements are so favorable he thinks that it would be a good idea. He said that for sure Monday they would start me anyway, I asked if he thought I could go all weekend without going into labor and he said that he could see that happening because he thought weeks ago I would have went into labor. He is also going out of town and I really want him to deliver because I have full trust in him. He also said that if I was a 2nd time mom he would have induced me a week ago...so it is either today or tomarrow....I can't wait...It is kind of scary but I am really EXCITED!!

Felito got accepted up at Utah State so he is going to take a english placement exam tomarrow morning at 8:30. I don't know how he is going to do it my brain is so scattered I can't think about anything except the BABY so hopefully all goes well and he will be able to concentrate and take that. We are so EXCITED to finally see progress and know that he is going to go to school in January. Yeah Yippy Hurray!! So we are having a lot of excitement in our lives all at once, kindof fun!! Well wish me luck, I hope they call today....

Well Felito and I had a fun evening. We went to Wendy's for dinner and rented a RedBox movie "The Cleaner" it was really funny!! I am feeling just normal...I feel great! Thats too BAD! Well I have a DR. apointment tomarrow so we will see what happends. Oh yeah and here is a picture of my belly taken today Aug 28.

I had false labor again on Sunday evening; they weren't quite as tight and close together as they were on Thursday but they were still comming about every 10 minutes and then once again I woke up Monday morning and there was nothing...I guess it is still not time. Felito wants me to call and get started... he has already taken two days of his vacation...but we are going to wait until Wednesday and see what the doctor says. We have enjoyed his time off just being together its been fun!

Tony's Grove

Well Felito and I have officially proved that nothing will bring a baby earlier than their ready! Long walks, Latan dancing and high altitudes (we went to Tony's grove for a walk Monday) don't make the little tykes come when they don't want to... But it was sure fun to try we have enjoyed our weekend together and enjoyed getting out and playing a bit more before responsibility of parenthood sets in. Everyone has been calling us dailey to see if he has been or when he will be born. Thanks everyone for your love and concern. Jami said "Cami, I know you said you want him to be brown but get him out of the oven before he is burned." I thought it was really funny. I really wouldn't mind going into labor tonight though. jajaja! Mom and Gloria are going to see Josh Groben in concert so they told me to hold off until later. I talked to my nurse and she said no amount of walking or exercise will cause you to go into labor so I am going with Felito and renting a great movie and cuddling up with my pillow tonight and just going to take it easy!

We went over to Carlos and Leeann's house tonight and watched "I SPY" It was dang funny it was really fun. I really like hanging out with them they are good friends. Felito has started playing soccor with Carlos so it has been fun going and seeing his play... Felito made 3 goals the last game they played it was awsome!!

After Thursday night I thought for sure we were going to have a baby. I was having contractions every 10, 6,7,11 minutes for 3 1/2 hours. I thought that if we went to bed that my waters would break or that the contractions would get stronger and closer together and wake me up...but they didn't...they stopped about 8:30 Friday morning. I didn't have any contractions at all on Friday!

A Dominican Celebration (Saturday Night)

We went to a Dominican Dance at club NVO to celebrate 40 weeks prego and we thought that it may jump start my labor but after a night of dancing ( 4 hours straight, I sat out only 5 songs) Andres still is very comfortable... he enjoyed the Bachata, Merenge and Reagee ton. Everyone asked me when I was due and when I said tomarrow they were wondering what we were doing there... it was so funny. I am not feeling any contractions just the baby gigging around and my back feels really tight. It was a really fun night it has been forever since Felito and I went dancing....it just love dancing with him that is one of the things that made me fall in love with him in the first place. It was a great last night together before we are officially parents. Well it is now 2:30 a.m. and I better get showered and into bed we have a baby blessing tomarrow morning. I just wish that I would go into labor or that my waters would break... I want to meet and hold our little bambino!!! Hasta la vista...

The Nursery is ready!!

We have had the nursery ready for months now it has been a work in progress. It has been really fun to decorate. I love my crib and changing table I feel so spoiled I think baby Andres has everything he could ever want. Mom and I found a new crib set that is more "baby colars," which is a noah's ark set so I decorated with a fun ark and animals. I am saving my fun denum set until he is a little older and I want to decorate his room with teddy bears and a base ball theme, he's going to be our little "All Star" we can't wait to meet him!! The worlds next Sammy Sosa jajaja!

I went into the doctors yesterday and well we are progressing. No protein in my urine. I gained 3 pds this last week, I weigh 159 pds. Baby is head down and his heartbeat is good 136 or 137 beats a minute, baby has dropped into my pelvis he is in estasion 0, so my belly measures an inch smaller. ( I loved it when he dropped because my acid-indigestion went away it was great.)
My blood pressure is good and I am now 90% effaced, dialated to a 3 and The doctor says that he expects to see us this weekend....hopefully! He says that my delivery will be faster that that of a first time mom. He said I really don't know how lucky I am. After saying that he said that he thinks the little guy will be a 7 1/2 or 8 pounder. Ahhhhh he is not a small baby! He jokingly put an apointment for next Wednesday to get me started if the baby isn't born before then.
Well I went shopping today for the essencials, I hadn't bouth my nursing bra's or a breast pump, it wasn't exactly what I wanted to spend almost a $100 on. oh well I guess they are great to have.
The phone has been ringing non- stop for the last couple of days with anxious and loving family and friends wondering if we had welcomed our little one into the world yet. I always have to say "Nope, no baby yet!" He is way to comfortable. Kassie and Jon are having their baby blessing this Sunday on my due date and we really want to go so maybe Andres will stay put until Sunday night but if he decides to come we will be sooo sooo soooo Happy!! Well love you all thanks for your love and concern.

Still Waiting...39 Weeks Pregnant

Well we are still waiting for our Little Bambino but , he's not quite ready to make his appearance. I thought that he was comming last week for sure, so this week I think he will stay in until his due date but I do hope everyday to meet him a little bit early. Last Friday we went for a brisk walk up to the temple and last night we went swimming at the sports academy both things make the baby more comfortable they put him right to sleep. We were hoping it would make him want to be born faster. Oh well! We are just a litte excited to hold him and have him here!

He continues to build a layer of fat to help control his body temperature after birth, but it's likely he already measures about 20 inches and weighs a bit over 7 pounds. 38 Weeks, Hey Another Week Has Begun...

Last week went quite fast. It was a good week we went to Bear Lake again on Thursday it was a lot of fun. It was really windy so we enjoyed eating a little sand with our lunches. Grandma & pa Richards, Shirley & Elmer, Gloria, Mom & Jami and I all went. I came home a fried lobster so I am accually really glad that I didn't go into labor this last weekend that would have been imbarrassing. Felito is applying to go up to Utah State and take advanced English classes which is really EXCITING!!
Dad had his Birthday on Friday he has been saying for months that Andres should come a little early and share his birthday but, I felt great all day and it didn't happen dang-it! We enjoyed his B-Day we went to eat at Logan's Heros and then went and hung out at the fair looked at all the animals and listened to the music. Mom and I went to Yard Sales on Saturday and out to lunch it was a great "girls afternoon out."

37 Weeks Pregnant

I am fineally 27 weeks! Felito and I are ready to hold our little guy, but I think that he just might hold on to the bitter end. I went to the Dr. for my weekly checkup on Monday, everything was just right, no protein in my urine, I gained 3 pounds, my abdomen measured 37cm and my blood pressure was good. We found out that I am 80% effaced and dilated to a 2 so I am making progress. My dad was going down to Salt Lake on Tuesday and he said that I could go if I promised not to go into labor. jajaja!

I feel like I gained 3 pds this last week the baby is feeling a lot heavier, my belly is HUGE!! Dr. Strebel said that Baby Andres isn't going to be a little boy, he expects that he will be a 7 1/2 or 8 pd-er. OH GOSH!! He will come with his chubby cheeks. My Dr. went out of town on Tuesday and will be back next Thursday so I hope we can hold out until then but no longer. If not I think doc owes me some Alaskan Salmon!

On Tuesday Felito played his last Softball game, all three bases were loaded and Felito hit a homerun. It was so awsome he added 4 pts to the scoreboard, however we lost the game by one point in overtime. Felito is AWSOME!!! We were really excited because Dad, mom & Jami were there....

The Richards clan went to Bear Lake again today it was so much fun. It was so windy we had sand in our food and our hair was a mess. Grandpa and Grandma got out in the water with us the water was just perfect warm and clear. Jami and I went for a walk in the water to get our exercise I was hoping that it would start me in labor. just kidding! I want him to come when he is ready. I am a fried lobster so I hope that I don't go into labor I am in so much pain and that would just be embarrassing.

I have been having friendly Braxton Hicks contractions all weekend. Felito and I went to Tami and Jason's sealing on Saturday it was so beautiful. Through out the day and that evening I felt really out of breath and kept having contractions but they were very spread out and irregular. We went to baby Braken's blessing on sunday (Kate and Jason's little man.) and saw and met baby Issac (Kassie and Jon's boy.) They are both so handsome. It was so much fun to see them, it made me really anxious to have our little one here also. Felito is just so excited to have a little boy, he is going to be a proud daddy. I can't wait to be a mom, to kiss and hold our little guy.

36 Weeks Pregnant

Went to the Dr.'s for a check-up. I have gained 25 pds. since my first visit when I was 11 1/2 weeks pregnant. I currently weigh 156 pds. My blood pressure is good, babys heart beat is good 140 , abdomen measured 36 cm (so I am right on), baby is in the head down position. Dr. Strebel said that if my water breaks to come in immediately, if I start into labor and my waters don't break he said come in when contractions are 3min apart lasting about an hour. Labor feels like a tight cramping across stomach and a backache. He said that they will get so intense that I won't be able to talk through them. Yeah that sounds like a lot of fun!! Jajajaj!

How your baby's growing: Your baby is still packing on the pounds — at the rate of about an ounce a day. He now weighs almost 6 pounds and is a little under 19 inches long. He's shedding most of the downy covering of hair that covered his body as well as the vernix caseosa, the waxy substance that covered and protected his skin during his nine-month amniotic bath.

My belly at 35 weeks. Felito was enjoying making me modle my little man! I am feeling like I am getting alot bigger, Andres isn't slowing down any. He still moves and kicks all the time.

How your baby is growing: Your baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that he's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 pounds plus. Because it's so snug in your womb, he isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times he kicks should remain about the same. pictures. Aren't we cute. It was loads of fun we almost fell into the river. We decided to take the picture of just mom, dad and the girls. It has been forever since our last one.

33 Weeks Pregnant,Fun in the Sun @ Bear Lake

We went to Bear Lake, the water was so clear and beautiful, it was luke warm like bath tub water. We enjoyed being out in the sun and floating on our tubes. Mom and dad brought fried chicken and fruit for dinner. We played with "Zander" in the water, picked up seashells. Overall we had a great time, just like when we were kids. It was Andres' first time at Bear Lake still in the belly though, we can't wait to bring him next year when he can walk and play in the sand.

32 Weeks Pregnant,Summer Fun...4th of July

We went to Twin Lakes over the 4th of July! I was 32 weeks prego and looking pretty hot in my swimming suit, that was until Jami and Toni came and stood by me. I felt much like a Hippopatamus. It was fun to be with all of the Richard clan. Grandpa even played "You are My Sunshine" on the hermonica. All of us cousins & Aunts and Uncles enjoyed our floaties,"Dozzer" Toni's dog was almost drowned by "Zander,"and Felito rode a Wave Runner. We had a fun barbeque packed up and came home.

Wow, Where has this month gone? 31 Weeks Prego

My mom and I went down to St. George to see Jami on June 28, for a couple of days. We were so excited to go and visit her and spend some time together, just the girls. We were sad that Toni was unable to come with us. Jami was so excited to see my belly once again it is growing so fast. I was 31 weeks prego but the ride was great, mom was worried but we did just fine. It was fun to be in St. George were it is soooo hot, it was 109 Degrees most days. We enjoyed taking "Zander" for walks looking for rocks and enjoying the beautiful red mountains.

We did crafts for the Babys room until 3:30ish in the morning. Jami showed us some of her plethera of talents. We made a little bear train and bear picture frame for the shelf in the babys room. Jami hand stiched me a denim bear which is amazing. I am really excited they will look great in the babys room. We really enjoyed our time together catching up for lost times. We went to Saturday morning yard sales, our favorite shopping place the D.I., out to dinner at the spegetti factory. Time passed so quickly we found ourselves 5 days later headed back to good 'ol Cache Valley.

31 Weeks Pregnant- This week, your baby measures about 16 inches long. He weighs a little over 3 pounds and is heading into a growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. We had fun Friday night hanging out with Katie & Jason Thompson. We saw their baby's room, took pictures, went to jamba juice and then hung out at our apartment. The most important thing is we started my Blog. Yeah! Yippy ! Hurray! This is a funny picture of Felito playing basketball with my tummy. Katie is 37 weeks I believe and I am 28 weeks.
